Privacy Policy

Make Invoice Now (operated by Emam Media LTD, "we", "us") is designed to be privacy-first by default. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, where it lives, and what we do — and don't do — with it.

1. What we collect

From the invoice generator: nothing. Make Invoice Now runs entirely in your browser. The information you enter (your business details, your client's details, line items, logos, totals, notes) is never transmitted to our servers. We don't have an account system and we don't track individual users.

If you contact us via our contact form, we receive the name, email, and message you submit, used solely to reply to you.

2. How your invoice data is stored

Invoice data is saved using your browser's localStorage, a local sandbox on your device. It stays on your computer. Clearing your browser data (or using the "Clear" button in the generator) removes it.

Uploaded logos are converted to a local data URL and stored the same way. They are never uploaded to a server.

3. Cookies & local storage

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. We use localStorage to remember your invoice draft and your dark-mode preference, and (optionally) sessionStorage on protected pages so you don't have to re-authenticate after refreshing in the same tab.

4. Sharing & selling data

We don't sell, rent, trade, or share your data. We can't — we don't have it.

5. Your rights

Because we don't hold your invoice data, you control it entirely. To delete it, use the "Clear" button in the generator or clear your browser's site storage. For contact form submissions, you can request deletion by emailing us via the contact form.

6. Security

Browser-local storage is sandboxed per origin, but it's only as secure as the device it lives on. Don't store sensitive information on a shared or public computer.

7. Changes to this policy

If we materially update this policy, we'll change the date above and post the new version on this page.
